I am writing a dispute regarding fraudulent business conduct carried out by a company identifying itself as Regina Freight Systems Inc. Our company was assigned a transportation load from Shanty Bay, Ontario to Mississauga, Ontario. As per the agreement, we were instructed to:

Pick up an empty trailer # 2002D, Plate # X1002C from RFS PARKING, 930 Britannia Rd, Mississauga, ON, L9T 6R1.
Proceed to Napoleon, 2621 Gore Rd Shanty Bay, ON L0L 2L0 to pick up the loaded freight.
Return the loaded trailer to RFS PARKING, 930 Britannia Rd, Mississauga, ON, L9T 6R1.

For this service, Regina Freight Systems Inc. agreed to pay us CAD $800, with payment to be made via Quick Pay (3% deduction) within 24 hours after delivery. After the service was completed, we repeatedly followed up with the company regarding payment. Initially, they responded that the payment would be issued within two days. However, even after multiple attempts to contact them, no payment was made. Upon reviewing the Bill of Lading (BOL), we discovered that the load originally belonged to Caravan, indicating that Regina Freight Systems Inc. had double-brokered the shipment without authorization. We subsequently informed Caravan of the incident. Despite providing the required service and having our driver spend time, fuel, and resources on this assignment, we have not received any compensation. This conduct constitutes fraud, misrepresentation, and unauthorized brokerage activity, resulting in financial loss to our company and wasted time for our driver.
